when you use the Tagmi mobile application.

children's profiles created by parents or guardians.

NFC tags linked to child profiles.

Camera: The app accesses your device camera to capture
photos for child profiles and item registration. Camera access is only
used when you explicitly initiate a photo action and is never used in
the background.

Location: The app may access approximate or precise
device location to log where an NFC tag was scanned. Location data is
only collected during a scan event and only if you grant permission.

Scan history: Records of when and where NFC tags were
scanned, stored securely in the cloud.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Authenticate users and manage accounts
- Link children's belongings to digital profiles
- Enable NFC tag identification by authorised users
- Log scan events for traceability and safety
- Provide role-based access for parents and educators
4. Data Storage and Security
All data is stored securely using Google Firebase services (Firebase
Authentication, Firestore, and Firebase Storage). We implement
industry-standard security practices to protect your information from
unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to
third parties. Data is shared only with Google Firebase as our cloud
infrastructure provider, in accordance with
Google's Privacy Policy .
6. Children's Privacy
Tagmi stores profile information for children as managed by parents or
guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from
children. Parents and guardians are responsible for the data they enter on
behalf of children in their care.
